Clean build and good legibility
Checked the case finishing and clasp lock as soon as it arrived. Brushing on the 316L lugs is even, the sapphire bezel clicks into place without slop, and the GMT hand is easy to distinguish at a glance.

Subtle color palette that works well in a professional setting. I wear button-downs five days a week and the 40mm case never snags on my cuffs. The brushed and polished steel bracelet dresses up or down easily.

great grey bezel
The dual-tone black and slate grey sapphire bezel insert is what drew me to the 1664, and the transition between the two shades is super clean under a loupe. The 40mm case sits nicely on my wrist with curved lugs that hug the arm. The Pearl DG GMT automatic movement winds with a little more resistance than my NH34 pieces, but it's averaging +5 seconds per day on the timegrapher.
