Questions & answers
Is the Powermatic 80 automatic or does it need a battery?
It is a self-winding Swiss automatic movement powered by the motion of your wrist, with no battery required. Fully wound it holds roughly 80 hours of running reserve.
Can I actually dive with this watch?
Yes. It is water resistant to 300 meters (30 ATM) with a screw-down crown, so it is rated for swimming, snorkeling and recreational scuba diving. Always make sure the crown is fully screwed down before entering the water.
How big is the case and will it fit my wrist?
The case is 43mm in diameter, a confident mid-to-large diver size that wears well on wrists from about 6.5 inches and up.
What do the bezel and crystal do?
The unidirectional rotating dive bezel only turns one way so you can safely track elapsed time, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal keeps the dial clear and legible for years.
Is this a genuine Swiss watch and is it covered?
Yes. It is an authentic Swiss Made Tissot, shipped brand-new and boxed with a 2-year international warranty.
Can I return it if it is not right?
Yes. It arrives new and boxed and can be returned in unworn condition in line with our store return policy.
Customer reviews
The Seastar 1000 on the black rubber strap is perfect. 300m water resistance, ceramic bezel, and the deep blue dial is stunning.
I prefer this over the steel bracelet. It hugs the wrist perfectly and makes the watch feel lighter. Powermatic 80 movement is a beast.
Great Swiss diver for the price. The bezel action is slightly tighter than I prefer, but it feels incredibly secure. Lume is decent.
He goes boating a lot and needed a serious water watch. He loves the blue dial and says the rubber strap is extremely comfortable.
You get sapphire, a ceramic bezel, 300m rating, and an 80-hour Swiss automatic movement. Tissot provides insane value with the Seastar.
