About this watch
Tonneau case, skeleton dial. The Astro Skeleton Galaxy Black shows its automatic movement through an open-worked dial in a frosted black case — stealthy and mechanical.
Design
The barrel case breaks from the round-watch norm; frosted stainless steel adds a diamond-dust shimmer, and an open caseback reveals the rotor at work.
Movement
A self-winding automatic movement powers it — no battery, wound by the motion of your wrist. Luminous hands keep it legible day or night.
Wear
Rated to 5 ATM (50m) with an anti-static silicone strap — fine for rain and daily wear; keep it clear of swimming and diving.
New, boxed and warrantied — free US shipping.
Questions & answers
Is this a real automatic watch?
Yes. A self-winding automatic movement drives it - no battery. You can watch it run through the open skeleton dial and exhibition caseback, and it winds from the motion of your wrist.
What is a skeleton dial?
Instead of a solid face, the dial is open-worked so you see the movement's baseplates and bridges turning in real time.
How big is the case?
The tonneau case measures 42.5mm in blacked-out frosted stainless steel - a modern, confident size that still wears comfortably.
Can I wear it in water?
Rated to 5 ATM (50m) - rain and splashes are fine, but keep it clear of swimming, showering and diving.
Is it authentic, and what is included?
Every piece is sourced through Paul Rich's verified channel and ships brand-new, boxed and warrantied, with free insured US shipping.
Customer reviews
Watching the automatic movement working away inside the Tonneau case of the Astro Galaxy Black is completely hypnotic. Incredible design.
The all-black stealth look combined with the open skeleton dial is super edgy. It breaks from the round-case standard perfectly.
Very loud design, I wear it out to lounges and clubs. 4 stars because telling time quickly takes a second with the open dial, but worth it.
She knows I love mechanical watches. The frosted baseplates and bridges moving in real time are so cool to look at.
You feel the quality immediately. Heavy steel, great finishing, and a reliable automatic movement. Paul Rich is doing great things.
