Bristol 747 Jumbo Jet Tribute Chronograph: un cronografo con quadrante nero in una cassa da 44 mm in acciaio inossidabile 316L, mosso da un movimento cronografico svizzero al quarzo (Calibro 5021.D). Presenta sul fondello un originale materiale della fusoliera dell’aereo a cui rende omaggio, in un’edizione limitata a 1986 esemplari e con resistenza all’acqua fino a 50 m. Sul quadrante ChronoSeasons occupa la posizione Ore V — Cronografo, parte della stagione Expedition — ed è ideale per gli appassionati di sport motoristici e di aviazione.
Questo moderno orologio presenta una cassa in acciaio inossidabile accuratamente realizzata e mostra un pezzo originale di una fusoliera di un KLM 747. Il movimento è un cronografo svizzero di precisione con un quadrante Super-LumiNova protetto da un vetro zaffiro antigraffio. Questo design è limitato a 1986 esemplari in onore dell'anno in cui il KLM 747 Tail # PH-BUW è entrato in servizio. Il 747 era il "Jumbo Jet" originale ed è stato considerato la "regina dei cieli" fin dal suo ingresso in servizio con Pan American Airlines nel 1970. Only splashes. It is rated to 50m (5 ATM), which handles rain and hand-washing, but it is not intended for swimming or submersion.

Most quartz chronographs at this price use basic zero-jewel movements, so seeing the 10-jewel Swiss Caliber 5021.D inside this Bristol 747 tribute is a big plus. The 44mm brushed and polished 316L stainless steel case has clean bevels, the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is crystal clear, and the embedded 747 airframe aluminum in the caseback (mine is from the 1986-piece run) makes it a genuine conversation piece in my watch box.
Love the aviation instrument layout on the black dial and the Swiss Ronda 5021.D 10-jewel chronograph movement. The sub-registers are clean and easy to read on my wrist, and the piece of real 747 fuselage in the caseback is a great touch.
Bought this 747 Jumbo Jet tribute for my father's 75th birthday. He retired as an airline captain after decades on Boeing widebodies, and when he flipped the case over and saw the original 747 airframe relic and limited 1986 numbering, he was grinning ear to ear.
