A self-winding automatic movement, individually regulated for accuracy. It winds from the motion of your wrist, so there is no battery to change.
It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.

At nearly twelve hundred dollars I was a bit skeptical ordering a dive watch online without trying it on first. Those worries disappeared the second I felt the heft of the 44mm case and saw the deep gloss on the ceramic-enamel dial and the custom stingray strap.
The tolerances on this 316L steel case are tight. The 120-click rotating bezel has a firm mechanical detent, the crown threads down smoothly without binding, and the 4.5mm anti-reflective sapphire keeps the enamel dial readable from any angle.
Rock solid 44mm diver. Bezel action is tight and the stingray strap looks sharp.
Measured the case at 44mm across and 15mm thick, which makes sense given the 600m depth rating and 4.50mm domed sapphire crystal. The 120-click unidirectional bezel aligns dead center at twelve o'clock, and the ceramic-enamel dial provides crisp contrast.
Took this 44mm Leviathan out on the gulf for a weekend fishing and diving trip. The 120-click bezel ratchets with zero backplay, the 4.5mm domed sapphire is thick, and the screw-down crown feels rock solid. Only Though the Super-LumiNova is decent for a few hours but not quite an all-night torch.

The ceramic-enamel dial has a wet gloss look in real light that you cannot really capture on a screen. Wore it out to dinner on Saturday and a guy at the next table asked what I had on my wrist.
Picked up this Limited Edition Leviathan for my brother's retirement from the Air Force. He is an avid coastal diver here in Maine and was floored by the 600m rating and the custom stingray strap included in the box. He wears it constantly.
