Took this down to Galveston for the weekend. Even on my wrist the 43mm case doesn't overhang the lugs, and the frosted steel bracelet shrugs off sweat and humidity. High contrast hands make reading the time easy at night.

Website photos don't quite show how subtle the flecks in the black aventurine dial are until you step outside sun. Comfortable on my wrist for office days and Friday dinners with my wife.
I appreciate how uniform the frosted texturing is across the 43mm case and bracelet links. Wore it up in the canyon all weekend and legibility was solid in bright sun. The watch has some real heft to it that took a couple days to get used to on my wrist.
Wore this out on the Chesapeake last weekend and it handled the spray without an issue. The frosted steel bracelet feels sturdy on my wrist and the rose gold hands are easy to pick up at a glance. The clasp hinge was a little stiff out of the box before working it open a few times.

Most of my watch box is mechanical, but I grabbed this Star Dust II for the black aventurine dial and frosted rose gold case. The Swiss quartz movement hits every index dead-on with zero second-hand backlash, and the mineral crystal sits flush with the bezel. On my 7.25-inch wrist the lug-to-lug drape is comfortable, though the butterfly clasp could really use a half-link or micro-adjustment hole when my wrist swells on warm afternoons.

Pulled two links out of the frosted steel bracelet to fit my wrist and wore it like that for a week. Also tried it on a black FKM rubber strap for a more relaxed weekend feel, though the stock rose gold bracelet really makes the dial pop.
Measured the case at 43mm across with tight gap tolerances between the frosted end links and the lugs. The butterfly clasp locks shut with a crisp click and zero rattle. Legibility against the black aventurine dial is sharp even under dim office lighting.
