Luxaura 1645 42mm Black Arabic Dial
Wasn't sure what to expect at $310, especially with a fluted bezel where cheap finishes look plastic. Once I opened the box I was impressed by the weight of the solid 316L links and the deep gloss of the black dial.

Eastern Arabic numeral dials are tough to find under $500 with a real mechanical movement, so I grabbed this 1645 right away. The applied indices have crisp edges against the obsidian black dial, and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal keeps reflections down. Even on my wrist the 42mm case wears comfortably thanks to the curved lugs, and the Seiko NH35 is running +4 sec/day.

Black leather makes the dial pop
Sized the steel bracelet for my wrist, and also picked up a matte black leather strap which gives the obsidian black Eastern Arabic dial a dressier look. Rotor has a slight audible whir in a dead-quiet room.
