Really comfortable daily watch and the violet dial gets noticed at dinner. I swapped a black leather strap onto it for the first week which was pretty stiff for 3-4 days, so I put it back on the comfy factory steel bracelet.
Hard to beat the comfort of the solid 316L steel bracelet once it's sized, Steve! Glad you're enjoying the violet dial.
The steel bracelet fits my wrist with one link removed, and I also picked up a charcoal grey leather strap for it. The grey strap makes the sunburst violet dial and baguette markers pop.
Verified the 40mm case size, AR sapphire crystal, and Seiko NH36A day-date movement. Build tolerances on the fluted bezel and bracelet links are tight. The crown threads are tight at first and take a firm push to catch.

Wore this out to a steakhouse in LA last weekend and my wife immediately complimented the dial. Indoors it's a subtle dark plum, and in direct sun the violet sunburst really comes alive.

Picked this up for my younger brother when he graduated from his master's program. His university color is purple, so the sunburst violet dial with baguette indices was a cool nod to that, and he wears it constantly.
