Great On Rubber And Leather
Swapping between the included rubber strap for work sites and the leather strap for weekends is super easy on this 44.2mm case. Gave Though the automatic rotor has a slight audible whir when I am in a dead-quiet room.
The watch
Built around a black dial, the Ocean Crawler Lume Rush Diver v2 - Black pairs a 44.2mm case with an automatic movement. Expect 600m water resistance and a sapphire crystal. It belongs to Hour IV, Dive, in our Expedition season: a natural choice for swimming, sailing and beach travel.
The Black dial sets the tone, framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel and set into a 44.2mm case in 316L stainless steel. At 44.2mm across, 15.6mm thick and 51.8mm lug-to-lug, it wears with real presence on the wrist.
A self-winding automatic movement drives the Lume Rush Diver, individually regulated for steady, accurate timekeeping. There is no battery to replace — the watch winds itself from the motion of your wrist.
Every Ocean Crawler is pressure-tested in water, and this one is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM). That is genuine capability for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. The unidirectional bezel and bright Super-LumiNova keep elapsed-time tracking clear even in dark water.
It is made for divers and enthusiasts who want a serious tool watch with genuine depth rating, Swiss-grade mechanics and a design that still turns heads above the surface.

Good to know
A self-winding automatic movement, individually regulated for accuracy. It winds from the motion of your wrist, so there is no battery to change.
It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.
The case measures 44.2mm (15.6mm thick, 22mm lug width) — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.
It has a black dial, framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel, under a sapphire crystal.
It pairs 600 metres (60 ATM) of tested water resistance with a luminous 120-click timing bezel, a serious tool-watch build and Swiss Super-LumiNova, so it performs underwater and still looks refined on land.
The bezel and key dial markers carry Swiss Super-LumiNova, so elapsed-time tracking and reading the time stay clear in dark or murky water.

Everything on this v2 Black feels purpose-built. The 15.6mm case height houses a thick domed sapphire and 600m sealing, the screw-down crown engages with smooth threads, and the matte black dial gives maximum daytime and nighttime contrast on my wrist.
I was a little nervous spending $999 online without seeing the watch in person first. Once I held the 44.2mm case and tested the 120-click bezel and thick domed sapphire crystal, I knew I made the right call.
I have collected automatic dive watches for twenty years, and the Lume Rush Diver v2 holds its own against pieces costing twice as much. The 44.2mm by 15.6mm 316L steel case is hefty on my wrist, but the curved lugs keep it balanced. The 120-click unidirectional bezel lines up cleanly with zero backplay, the domed sapphire crystal is thick, and my movement is averaging +3 seconds per day. The multi-layered Swiss Super-LumiNova is easily the brightest in my watch box.
Got this for my brother who served as best man at my wedding last month. He has my wrist so the 44.2mm case fits him like a glove, and he was blown away by the 600m rating and heavy steel build.
Congratulations on your wedding, Wade! That is an awesome gift for your best man, and we hope your brother enjoys wearing the Lume Rush v2 for years to come.
Picked up the black Lume Rush v2 for a fellow captain retiring from our fire department after twenty-eight years. He wanted a rugged automatic diver with serious lume, and he has been showing it off to the whole station.
Heavy 44.2mm case and insane Super-LumiNova glow. Fast shipping to Wisconsin too.
Thanks for the review, Andrew! Glad the Lume Rush Diver v2 arrived quickly and that you are enjoying that Super-LumiNova glow.
The black v2 dial works with practically any strap color. I wore the included rubber strap for a week, tried the leather strap for client lunches, and recently put it on an olive NATO on my wrist.
