This is my second Paul Rich piece alongside several Swiss automatics. The 40mm case size is spot on for my wrist, with compact lugs that frame the crystal-set bezel and black sunburst dial cleanly. The mineral crystal is flat and clear, and the Japanese quartz movement hits the markers accurately. The crown stem was a little stiff to push in at first, but smoothed out after setting it.
At $199 I half expected hollow-feeling links or dull stones in the bezel. Happy to be wrong. The stainless jubilee has reassuring weight on my 6.75-inch wrist, the clasp shuts cleanly, and the black sunburst dial looks crisp.
I have a box full of 42mm mechanical divers and chronographs, so this 40mm Legacy Silver Black was a change of pace for my wrist. The radially brushed black sunburst dial plays well with the crystal-set bezel, and the Japanese quartz caliber keeps dead-accurate time between wears. The black sunburst dial and crystal bezel look much cleaner in Arizona sunlight than in the product photos. Sits comfortably on my wrist all day and already got a compliment at dinner.
Been wearing this for casual dinners and errands. The black sunburst dial catches light nicely alongside the crystal bezel. In a dead-quiet room you can hear a faint tick from the movement, which doesn't bother me at all.

Removed two links from the stainless jubilee bracelet to dial in the fit for my wrist. The five-link design is super comfortable, and swapping to a grey suede strap on Sunday completely changed the vibe of the black sunburst dial.
On my wrist the stock jubilee bracelet fits without needing extra links and articulates smoothly. I also tried putting the 40mm head on a black Saffiano leather strap for clinic days, which tones down the crystal bezel nicely.
Wore this out on the boat on the Potomac and to dinner afterward. The 40mm steel case and black sunburst dial are easy to read in bright sun, and the jubilee bracelet feels secure. The crown action was a bit tight at first and took a firm push to seat.
