At $299 I was not sure if a gold-toned frosted watch would look cheap in person. I was wrong. The frosted texture on the 43mm steel case is crisp, the links feel solid, and the blue aventurine dial has real depth.
Out in the Los Angeles sun, the frosted gold bracelet and blue aventurine dial with the Arabic numerals really pop. It wears comfortably on my wrist and gets noticed every time I go out for drinks.
Bought the Desert Gold for my brother's 40th birthday. He loves the Arabic numerals over the blue aventurine dial and the frosted gold finish. Only My only minor gripe is that the butterfly clasp does not have half-links, making it slightly snug on humid days.
