As someone with fifteen automatics in rotation, I bought the Mulberry LE for the dial color, but the case execution is what keeps it on my wrist. The 316L brushing transitions cleanly into the polished bevels, the 120-click bezel is tight, and the domed sapphire crystal handles glare well. Over ten days of tracking, the self-winding caliber has stayed within -1 to +3 seconds per day.

This is my third Ocean Crawler and the 44.2mm Champion case remains my favorite for a larger wrist. The short lug-to-lug keeps the 15mm height planted, and the domed sapphire gives just enough vintage distortion at extreme angles. The 120-click unidirectional bezel has zero backplay and the automatic movement is averaging +4 seconds per day on my timegrapher. The Mulberry dial has a rich purple-burgundy grain that looks fantastic.
Gave the Mulberry limited edition to my nephew when he finished his residency last month. He wanted something with real color instead of another black dial diver. He was thrilled with the purple-red shade and the extra strap in the box.

Wore this out on a charter off Fort Lauderdale in rough chop. The 600m water resistance and Kevlar strap handled salt spray and bait washdown without a problem, and the Super-LumiNova markers are super clear. The watch has some real heft to it that took a couple days to get used to.
The 44.2mm 316L case and 15mm profile sit well on my wrist. Bezel action has 120 distinct clicks with no slop, crown threads engage cleanly, and the high-contrast hands make reading the time instant.
