My husband wears it constantly
Got this for my husband's birthday because he prefers smaller vintage-sized watches over bulky ones. As an interior designer I'm picky about color, and this sunburst royal blue with silver Roman numerals is gorgeous.
The watch
Bersigar Luxaura 1752 Silver Blue: a sunburst royal blue-dial dress watch in a 36mm solid 316L polished stainless steel case, driven by a Seiko ST16 automatic movement. Highlights include 100m water resistance and a sapphire crystal. It belongs to Hour I, Minimalist Dress, in our Boardroom season: a natural choice for days that start in a meeting room and end at dinner.

With a smaller wrist, modern 42mm watches look like dinner plates on me. I took a chance on this 36mm Bersigar and was impressed by the solid steel links, sapphire crystal, and how cleanly the Roman numerals are finished.
After retiring from the Navy I started consulting in Denver, and I needed a classic dress watch that doesn't fight tight shirt cuffs. This 36mm silver and blue piece looks sharp in client meetings and wears light on my wrist.
Case measures 36mm across with a well-machined fixed fluted bezel and AR sapphire crystal. The applied Roman numerals sit straight on the sunburst blue dial, and the 100m water resistance makes it a practical daily wearer.
Ordered this half expecting a lightweight fashion watch, so the solid 316L steel weight and crisp fluted bezel caught me off guard in a good way. The sunburst blue dial has real depth in sunlight.
I love a tailored menswear watch on my 6.25-inch wrist, and 36mm is the ideal diameter without lug overhang. The royal blue dial goes with everything at the pharmacy. Shipping carrier delayed the box by two days, though the watch itself is great.
Bought this for my best man before my wedding. He has my wrist so the 36mm size fit him right after taking out two links, and the royal blue dial matched our navy suits.
At $270 I was skeptical about how the applied Roman numerals and fluted bezel would look up close. Happy to report the polishing on the 316L steel is super clean, the links are solid, and the sapphire crystal is genuine.
Thanks so much, Dan! Glad the finishing on the Roman numerals and fluted bezel impressed you in person.
Usually wear a pilot chronograph daily, so picking up a 36mm Roman numeral dress watch was a change of pace. The Seagull ST16 movement winds smoothly and the royal blue sunburst dial looks sharp at squadron dinners.
The 36mm silver case and sunburst royal blue dial look killer on both the steel bracelet and a navy Epsom leather strap. Only annoyance was that bracelet resizing took me 15-20 minutes with stubborn pins.
That navy Epsom strap combo sounds like a great match for the royal blue dial, Marcus! Sorry the bracelet pins were stubborn during sizing.
