It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.

Took this up to the Boundary Waters for a four-day canoe and camping trip. The C3 lume on the sapphire bezel stayed readable in the tent and the 316L case shrugged off portage knocks. Only note is the crown threads are tight at first and take a firm push to catch.

Took the Ultra Black up to Lake Tahoe for a weekend of boating and cold-water swimming. The matte black dial and C3 lume are super legible in bright glare and underwater, and the screw-down crown seals tight. The clasp could use an extra micro-adjustment hole for hot afternoons.
