I was a little skeptical ordering a gold-plated watch online at $339, worried the tone might look brassy. In person the gold finish is warm and rich, the solid links have real weight on my wrist, and the green aventurine dial is deep.
Spent the weekend down at Canyon Lake and wore this out every evening. The steel bracelet handles Texas heat without sticking to my wrist, the crown seats firmly, and the gold Arabic markers are easy to read at dusk.
Only needed to pull one link for my wrist and the integrated gold bracelet tapers nicely. I also tested the watch head on a dark green leather strap for a more understated look, though the gold steel bracelet is tough to beat.
