I have flown private planes for forty years and usually wear pilot chronographs or GMTs, but my wife talked me into trying this 43mm Automatic Gold. The blue aventurine dial looks just like stars at 30,000 feet, and the automatic movement runs great.
Great sparkle on the blue dial. Hand lume only lasts a few hours though.
I was honestly skeptical that a frosted gold watch at this price would feel solid, so I ordered the Automatic version to see for myself. The weight of the solid steel links, the sapphire crystal, and the deep blue aventurine dial completely convinced me.

I was curious how Paul Rich executed the frosted finish and sapphire crystal on the 43mm Automatic Gold model. The micro-textured frosting across the case and bracelet is remarkably uniform, and the polished bevels on the bezel frame the blue aventurine dial cleanly. On my wrist the integrated bracelet drapes well, and the Japanese automatic caliber has held within +5 seconds per day.

Bought the 43mm Quartz version to wear with dark suits at client dinners and sales conferences. The slim quartz case clears my dress shirt cuffs easily on my wrist, and the frosted gold and blue dial always get noticed.
