Because of the integrated lug design you will want to keep this on its factory 316L steel bracelet, and sizing it for my wrist only took ten minutes with a pin pusher. The brushed links drape like a custom strap and frame the royal blue dial nicely.
The 40mm brushed 316L case transitions cleanly into the integrated steel bracelet with minimal gap tolerance. On my wrist, the lug droop is comfortable and the clasp snaps shut with a positive click. The Miyota 8215 winds smoothly and keeps steady time.
I wanted a steel automatic I could wear kayaking on the American River without babying it. With 100m water resistance, a sapphire crystal, and a sturdy 316L bracelet, this 1753 Blue handles splashes and rocks without a scratch. Very easy to read in bright glare.
