I own several mechanical chronographs and skeleton pieces, and this Richardo 1738 Silver Sky Blue is a fun summer watch on a larger wrist. Using the Seiko VH65 quartz caliber gives you a smooth sweeping hand without the thickness or servicing cost of a mechanical tonneau movement. The brushed 316L steel bezel with exposed screws and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal are cleanly finished.
Wasn't sure what to expect at $280, and I have to admit the 316L steel tonneau case and sapphire crystal are well built for my wrist. Giving three stars mainly because the lume on the skeleton hands only lasts a couple hours.
Appreciate the honest feedback, Jesse! Skeleton hands have limited surface area for luminous compound, so we're glad the 316L steel case and sapphire crystal hit the mark.
The sky blue rubber strap is molded to match the 42mm tonneau case curve, so it wraps around my wrist without pinching. Easy to adjust and changes up my whole watch rotation.
The sky blue rubber strap and brushed silver tonneau case look right at home with a collared shirt here in Honolulu. Comfortable on my wrist all day at the office.
I love the structural look of the openworked dial and curved 42mm tonneau bezel. Wears great with a linen shirt or blazer on my wrist.
