Bristol P-51 Mustang Tribute GMT: un orologio GMT con quadrante beige, dotato di una cassa da 44 mm in acciaio inossidabile 316L e di un movimento svizzero al quarzo. Il fondello presenta un inserto in materiale originale della fusoliera dell’aereo a cui è dedicato, mentre la tiratura è limitata a 1945 esemplari e il secondo fuso orario è ideale per i viaggi. Il P-51 Mustang nordamericano è forse l'aereo da caccia alleato più importante della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Il Mustang fu il primo caccia in grado di scortare i bombardieri alleati, precedentemente privi di protezione, fino a Berlino e ritorno. Questo omaggio al P-51 presenta un classico design da aviatore e monta un movimento al quarzo svizzero di precisione con funzioni GMT e data. Il quadrante Super-LumiNova è protetto da un vetro zaffiro antigraffio. It runs on a Swiss quartz movement, GMT and Date Functions. Quartz keeps it accurate and low-maintenance; the battery simply needs replacing every few years.
Only splashes. It is rated to 50m (5 ATM), which handles rain and hand-washing, but it is not intended for swimming or submersion.

The caseback holds a genuine piece of P-51D Mustang, visible through the back of the case — a direct link to the aircraft the watch honours.
Yes. Production is limited to 1945 pieces, so once the run sells out it will not be repeated.

As an airline pilot, I love the vintage beige dial and swapped in a riveted pilot leather strap to alternate with the factory brown band. Date window is a little small without my reading glasses, but the GMT hand is clear.
Took this up to Lake Huron for a long weekend of sailing and hiking. The 50m water resistance and sapphire crystal handled spray and trail dust without a mark, and the high-contrast numerals on the beige dial are super readable in bright sun.
Sharp vintage beige dial and P-51 relic. Lume lasts a few hours after dark.

Checked the 44mm polished 316L case tolerances and hand alignment on arrival. The Swiss quartz GMT hand tracks mainland time accurately from Hawaii, the sapphire crystal is clear, and the P-51 airframe inlay is flush.
The factory brown leather strap looks sharp with the beige dial, and I also swapped in a tan canvas strap for Houston summer heat. Note that the crown stem detents are tight at first and take a firm push to catch when setting the GMT hand.
