Conçue autour d’un cadran rubellite, l’Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Rubellite Edition associe un boîtier de 44 mm à un mouvement automatique suisse Sellita SW200-1. Elle offre une étanchéité de 600 m et un verre saphir. Nous la plaçons à l’heure IV (Dive) de la saison Expedition, pour les journées de voyage au bord de l’eau.
Le cadran Rubellite donne le ton, encadré par une lunette rotative unidirectionnelle en saphir et logé dans un boîtier de 44 mm en acier inoxydable 316L. Avec ses 44 mm de diamètre, ses 15,6 mm d’épaisseur et ses 50 mm d’entre-cornes, il s’impose avec une véritable présence au poignet.
À l’intérieur bat un mouvement automatique Sellita SW200-1 suisse, fonctionnant à 28 800 alternances par heure avec une réserve de marche d’environ 40 heures. Il se remonte grâce aux mouvements de votre poignet — sans pile, juste un cœur mécanique réglé individuellement pour garantir sa précision.
Chaque Ocean Crawler est testé sous pression en eau, et celui-ci est étanche jusqu’à 600 mètres (60 ATM). Il offre de véritables capacités pour la plongée sous-marine de loisir et technique, l’apnée et la chasse au poisson à l’arquebuse. Une soupape d’échappement à l’hélium lui permet de supporter la plongée en saturation et les caissons de décompression. La lunette unidirectionnelle et la Super-LumiNova lumineuse permettent de suivre clairement le temps écoulé, même dans l’obscurité des fonds marins.

A Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with about a 40-hour power reserve. It is self-winding, so there is no battery to replace.
It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.

It has a rubellite dial, framed by a sapphire unidirectional rotating bezel, under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
It pairs 600 metres (60 ATM) of tested water resistance with a full sapphire bezel and sapphire crystal, a serious tool-watch build and Swiss Super-LumiNova, so it performs underwater and still looks refined on land.
The bezel and key dial markers carry Swiss Super-LumiNova, so elapsed-time tracking and reading the time stay clear in dark or murky water.

Wore this on the rubber strap while fishing the flats around Tybee Island. The screw-down crown and 600m rating handle the salt water without issue, and the C3 Super-LumiNova is super bright at dawn. Date window is a little small without my reading glasses.

Took this out for a Sunday morning drive up the Merritt Parkway in my old 911. I usually wear racing chronographs, but the deep red Rubellite dial and crisp bezel action won me over. The clasp doesn't have half-links so the fit is slightly snug in humid weather.
Sized the 22mm shark-mesh bracelet for my 7.75-inch wrist in about ten minutes, and it gives the Rubellite dial a heavy vintage diver look. Swapping to the included rubber strap tones down the weight and makes the red stone pop even more.

Website photos cannot capture the natural veining in the Rubellite stone when you step outside. Been wearing it to dinner and weekend errands on my wrist, and it is surprisingly comfortable.
I fly bush planes up in Maine and love mechanical instruments with real presence. Even though my usual rotation is full of GMTs and aviation chronographs, the 120-click sapphire bezel on this Rubellite Core Diver is great for tracking fuel tank switches.

This Rubellite edition bridges the gap between a tough diver and a professional office piece for school board meetings. Fits my wrist nicely under a sport coat. The shipping carrier delayed the box by two days, though the watch itself is great.

Case finishing, crown threading, and clasp lockup on the shark-mesh bracelet are all solid. The 4.0mm AR sapphire gives a clear view of the stone dial. Knocking one star because the shipping carrier delayed the box by two days, though the watch itself is great.
I wear navy and grey suits most days, and the deep crimson tone of the Rubellite dial adds just the right amount of character. On the shark-mesh bracelet, it has a dressed-up presence that works well with French cuffs.
The 44mm 316L steel case and 15.6mm height are machined to tight tolerances. The 120-click sapphire bezel ratchets cleanly, the helium escape valve is flush, and the Sellita SW200-1 has stayed within two seconds a day over three weeks.
