It runs on a Swiss quartz chronograph caliber 3540.D. Quartz keeps it accurate and low-maintenance; the battery simply needs replacing every few years.
Only splashes. It is rated to 50m (5 ATM), which handles rain and hand-washing, but it is not intended for swimming or submersion.
The case measures 44mm — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.
The caseback holds a genuine piece of B-25 Mitchell, visible through the back of the case — a direct link to the aircraft the watch honours.
Yes. Production is limited to 1945 pieces, so once the run sells out it will not be repeated.
On the ChronoSeasons dial it sits at Hour V — Chronograph, part of the Expedition season, and suits driving days, flights and timing anything that matters. It also appears in our Pilot & Aviation edit.

L'avis des propriétaires
Clean beige dial and snappy chronograph pushers. Real B-25 metal on the caseback.
Great 44mm B-25 chrono. Outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.
Thanks for your second Bristol purchase, Zachary! We put our focus into the Swiss movement, sapphire glass, and airframe relic.
Really like how the beige dial and brown stitched leather look in person compared to web photos. Comfortable on my wrist. The shipping carrier delayed the box by two days, though the watch itself is great.
The included brown leather band with white stitching complements the beige dial right out of the box. I also swapped a honey suede strap onto the 44mm polished lugs for weekend wear and both setups look sharp.
I collect aviation chronographs and picked this up for the 1945-piece limited edition B-25 Mitchell airframe inlay and the Swiss Ronda Caliber 3540.D movement. The 44mm polished 316L case has crisp lug geometry and a clear sapphire crystal over the vintage beige dial. When I tested an aftermarket steel bracelet on it, resizing and fitting the spring bars took 15-20 minutes with stubborn pins, so I went back to the stitched brown leather.
Appreciate the detailed collector notes, Mitchell! The factory stitched brown leather really is the classic match for that vintage beige B-25 dial.
The warm beige dial and polished bezel catch the light nicely walking between courthouses. Fits my wrist comfortably right out of the box and already got a compliment from a colleague.
I was a little hesitant at nearly 500 dollars online, but the polished 316L steel case, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and authentic B-25 Mitchell airframe insert won me over. I fitted a butterfly deployant clasp to the strap, though without half-step adjustments it feels slightly snug in humid Texas weather.
Thanks for the review, George! We are glad the polished steel finishing and B-25 Mitchell relic met your expectations.
Wore this to a contractor association dinner with a navy blazer and khaki slacks. The polished 316L steel case, cream-beige dial, and stitched brown leather strap look classic and refined, while the B-25 relic on the back is a great story.
On my wrist, the 44mm polished steel case and beige dial look proportional and dressy enough for client meetings. The brown leather strap with contrast stitching matches my dress shoes and the case slides under a button-down cuff.
Bought this polished steel B-25 Mitchell chronograph for my dad's 75th birthday. He has built scale models of WWII bombers for decades, so having an actual piece of B-25 airframe metal in the caseback of his watch made his whole year.
