Preguntas & respuestas

What movement powers the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE?

A Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with about a 40-hour power reserve. It is self-winding, so there is no battery to replace.

Can I swim with the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE?

It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.

Will the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE fit my wrist?

The case measures 44mm (15.6mm thick, 22mm lug width) — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.

What does the dial of the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE look like?

It has a garibaldi dial, framed by a sapphire unidirectional rotating bezel, under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

What makes the Core Diver stand out as a dive watch?

It pairs 600 metres (60 ATM) of tested water resistance with a full sapphire bezel and sapphire crystal, a serious tool-watch build and Swiss Super-LumiNova, so it performs underwater and still looks refined on land.

How good is the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE's lume and bezel?

The bezel and key dial markers carry Swiss Super-LumiNova, so elapsed-time tracking and reading the time stay clear in dark or murky water.

Are there other versions of the Ocean Crawler Core Diver?

Yes. Other versions we carry include the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Spring Time - Full Lume Orange, the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Eclipse Carbon, the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Whitewater Sentinel, the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Rubellite Edition, the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Blue/Orange DLC. Availability changes with stock, so the collection page always shows what is in stock today.

Who is the Ocean Crawler Core Diver - Garibaldi LE for?

On the ChronoSeasons dial it sits at Hour IV — Dive, part of the Expedition season, and suits swimming, sailing, beach travel and everyday wear.

Fun Friday office watch

I wear traditional dress watches Monday through Thursday, but the Garibaldi LE has become my go-to for casual Fridays and client golf outings. At 15.6mm it sits proud of a dress cuff, and the extra strap was pretty stiff for the first 3-4 days before breaking in.

Garibaldi LE 600m Dive Test

Took this down to 90 feet off the Jersey shore last weekend. The orange dial stays readable way deeper than you'd think, the 120-click sapphire bezel is easy to grip with neoprene gloves, and the C3 lume practically glows in the dark water.

worth every penny

I was on the fence about spending $1,200 on a microbrand watch, but the build quality of this Core Diver put my doubts to rest. Between the heavy shark-mesh bracelet, the 4mm sapphire crystal, and the Swiss Sellita movement, it feels like a $3,000 piece.

great cockpit and weekend watch

I fly private single-engine planes out of Hartford and usually wear a pilot GMT, but this Garibaldi orange dial caught my eye for weekend trips. Super legible at a quick glance in bright sun. The clasp doesn't have half-links so the fit is slightly snug in humid August weather.

Respuesta de ChronoSeasons

Hi Zachary, glad the Garibaldi is getting some airtime out of Hartford! Thanks for the feedback on the bracelet sizing during humid weather.
