Conviene saber
It runs on a Swiss quartz chronograph caliber 515-24H. Quartz keeps it accurate and low-maintenance; the battery simply needs replacing every few years.
Only splashes. It is rated to 50m (5 ATM), which handles rain and hand-washing, but it is not intended for swimming or submersion.
The case measures 44mm — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.
The caseback holds a genuine piece of B-17 Flying Fortress airframe, visible through the back of the case — a direct link to the aircraft the watch honours.
Yes. Production is limited to 1945 pieces, so once the run sells out it will not be repeated.
On the ChronoSeasons dial it sits at Hour VI — Field & Adventure, part of the Expedition season, and suits travel, the outdoors and long days on the move. It also appears in our Pilot & Aviation edit. Its second time zone makes it part of our GMT & Travel edit.

Wore this out to dinner and to the jobsite office on Monday. The beige dial and brown stitched leather look great in Texas sunlight. My only minor gripe is the date window is a little small without my reading glasses.
As a private pilot and WWII aviation reader in New Hampshire, the B-17 Flying Fortress has always been my favorite aircraft. This polished steel GMT with the vintage beige dial, 24-hour hand, and genuine B-17 airframe metal set into the 1945-piece limited caseback is a joy to wear.
Checked the hand alignment and sapphire crystal clarity as soon as I unboxed it. The Swiss Caliber 515-24H hits the markers cleanly, the 44mm polished 316L case feels solid on my wrist, and the B-17 airframe inlay is flush.
The factory brown leather band with contrast stitching pairs nicely with the polished steel lugs and beige B-17 dial. I also swapped an olive drab canvas strap onto it for a weekend fly-in, and the 44mm case looked right at home.
Great 44mm fit on my wrist. Love the B-17 caseback relic and stitched leather.
Appreciate the review, Zachary! Enjoy wearing your B-17 Flying Fortress Tribute.
I was skeptical about buying a commemorative pilot watch online, but the polished 316L case, sapphire crystal, and authentic B-17 Flying Fortress airframe metal in the caseback are the real deal. The crown threads and detents are tight at first and take a firm push to catch.
Thanks for the feedback, Walter! Those tight crown gaskets help protect the movement against moisture and dust, and they will smooth out with use.
The 44mm polished 316L stainless steel case is cleanly finished with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a legible beige dial. I use the 24-hour GMT hand daily to track overseas suppliers from Grand Rapids, and the brown stitched leather strap sits flat on my wrist.
Thank you, Joshua! Glad the Swiss 515-24H GMT function is proving useful for tracking your international suppliers.
