Case finishing and bracelet tolerances are tight, and the NH35A hand-winds smoothly. The green dial is legible from any angle. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is clearly where the money went.

Straightforward, well-built mechanical diver. The 42mm case fits my 8" wrist with only one link removed, the sapphire bezel aligns dead center at twelve, and the geometric indices are easy to read in low light.
Bought the green Luxaura for my dad's retirement party. Green is his favorite color and when he opened the box in the sun, the emerald dial had everyone at the table asking to see it.
Checked it over when it arrived in Seattle: solid 316L links, zero bezel backplay on the unidirectional sapphire insert, and clean anti-reflective coating on the crystal. The Seiko NH35A has been holding +6 seconds a day on my wrist.
