Short answer: Fraser & Co. makes four watches that we carry, all with sapphire crystals and 100m water resistance: the Paragon quartz dress watch, the Aesthete quartz chronograph, and two titanium automatic skeletons, the Visionary and the limited-release Luminaire. Prices run from $335 to $580, with Japanese Miyota movements throughout.
Fraser & Co. at a glance
Fraser and Co watches are built around a simple idea: put the spend where you feel it. Every model in our catalog uses a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a 100m (10 ATM) water rating and a Japanese Miyota movement, and three of the four use a titanium case. What changes from model to model is the job each watch is designed to do, from a slim leather-strap dress watch to an openworked automatic that puts the movement on display.
If you are shopping in this price band for the first time, our guide to the first luxury watch under $1,000 explains which specifications are worth paying for. Every Fraser & Co. model is also gathered on our Fraser & Co. brand page.

Model by model
The Paragon: the quartz dress watch
The Paragon takes its name from the Greek word for a model of excellence, and it is the brand's most straightforward design: a clean, slim 316L stainless steel case on a top-grain premium leather strap with a butterfly clasp. It is the only steel-cased Fraser & Co. we carry.
- Movement: Miyota JR20 quartz, accurate to within roughly twenty seconds a month.
- Battery: about three years per battery.
- Best for: a grab-and-go dress watch that is always set and ready. It sits in Hour I: Minimalist Dress.
The Aesthete: the titanium chronograph
The Aesthete is the predecessor to the Visionary and shares its focus on materials. A lightweight titanium case and matching case back give it presence without weight, and a multi-register chronograph dial adds depth. It is finished with an Italian top-grain calf leather strap and a butterfly clasp.
- Movement: Miyota JS15 quartz chronograph driving the sub-dials and stopwatch function.
- Accuracy and battery: within roughly twenty seconds a month, about two years per battery.
- Best for: someone who wants a chronograph that is light enough to forget about. Browse more in Hour V: Chronograph.
The Visionary: the first Fraser & Co. automatic
The Visionary is the first automatic in Fraser & Co.'s mechanical series, and it shows its engineering openly. A skeletonized dial reveals the movement turning beneath, and sapphire crystal on both the front and the exhibition caseback lets you see the mechanics from either side. Titanium keeps it light.
- Movement: Miyota 8N24 automatic, skeletonized to show its 21 jewels and beating balance.
- Specs: 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve; it winds itself from the motion of your wrist.
- Best for: a first mechanical watch where you actually want to watch the mechanism work. See more openworked designs in Hour X: Skeleton & Open-Heart.
The Luminaire: the limited-release statement
The Luminaire is a limited release that builds on the Visionary. It combines dial cut-outs, a tapisserie-style texture and a rectangular case into one bold silhouette, then layers in the skeletonized character of its sibling. It is the most collector-minded watch in the line.
- Movement: the same skeletonized Miyota 8N24 automatic, 21 jewels, 21,600 vph and a 42-hour reserve.
- Case and strap: lightweight titanium, with FMK rubber and Italian top-grain leather listed as strap materials.
- Best for: the buyer who wants something nobody else at the table is wearing. It also appears in Hour XII: Limited Editions.
