A Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 automatic running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with about a 40-hour power reserve. It is self-winding, so there is no battery to replace.
It is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM) and pressure-tested, so it is suitable for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. Have the gaskets checked periodically to keep that rating.
The case measures 44mm (15.6mm thick, 22mm lug width) — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.
It has a the patriot dial, framed by a sapphire unidirectional rotating bezel, under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
It pairs 600 metres (60 ATM) of tested water resistance with a full sapphire bezel and sapphire crystal, a serious tool-watch build and Swiss Super-LumiNova, so it performs underwater and still looks refined on land.
The bezel and key dial markers carry Swiss Super-LumiNova, so elapsed-time tracking and reading the time stay clear in dark or murky water.

My weekend car is a classic Corvette and I usually wear racing chronographs, but the bold red, white, and blue chapters on The Patriot caught my eye. The 120-click sapphire bezel ratchets with mechanical precision and the Sellita SW200-1 keeps dead-on time.
The stock shark-mesh bracelet looks sharp once sized for my 7.25-inch wrist, and the included rubber strap is super comfortable. I also threw it on a red-white-and-blue NATO strap for the Fourth of July weekend and it looked awesome.
Outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.

Wore The Patriot to our district budget meeting with a navy suit and red tie, and it looked right at home. On my wrist, the 44mm case balances well and the shark-mesh bracelet gives it a clean, dressed-up look.
Wasn't sure what to expect ordering from an independent watch company online, especially as an architect who nitpicks proportions. The 44mm steel case and sapphire bezel are finished beautifully. The extra strap was pretty stiff for the first 3-4 days before breaking in on my wrist.
I had my doubts about buying a $1,200 microbrand watch sight unseen, but the heavy shark-mesh bracelet, 4mm sapphire crystal, and crisp case brushing proved me wrong. Only reason for 4 stars is the date window is a little small without my reading glasses.
