Living I spend most days on the boat in a beat-up dive watch, so I bought this black-dial Le Locle strictly for dry land and dinner at the yacht club. With 30m water resistance and a leather strap it stays far from the water, and the dial is very easy to read in dim restaurants.
Measured the case at 39.3mm across and just under 10mm thick. The silver hands and Roman numerals provide solid contrast against the black clous de Paris dial, and my Powermatic 80 has been averaging +3 seconds per day over two weeks.
The factory black embossed leather strap comes on a butterfly deployant clasp, which saves the leather from creasing at the buckle holes. Since it has a 19mm lug width, I also ordered a matte tan calfskin strap and it swaps out in seconds.
