Questions & answers
Is the Le Locle Powermatic 80 automatic or does it need a battery?
It is a self-winding Swiss automatic. The Powermatic 80 movement winds from the motion of your wrist and holds up to 80 hours of power reserve, so it keeps running for about three days when set aside.
Can I wear it in water?
It is water resistant to 30 metres (3 ATM), which covers rain and hand-washing. As a dress watch it should not be worn for showering, swimming or diving.
How big is the watch and will 39.3mm fit me?
The case is 39.3mm across, a classic mid-size that suits most wrists and slides easily under a cuff.
Is the crystal scratch resistant?
Yes, the dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and an exhibition caseback shows the automatic movement inside.
Can the bracelet be resized?
Yes. The stainless steel bracelet has removable links, so a local jeweller can size it to your wrist for a precise fit.
Is this a genuine Tissot and is it under warranty?
Every watch is an authentic Swiss Made Tissot, brand-new with its original box and papers, and covered by a 2-year international warranty. Returns are accepted in line with our store policy.
Customer reviews
The Le Locle with the black dial and Roman numerals is the quintessential Swiss dress watch. It's sleek, moody, and incredibly classy.
I love flipping the watch over to see the Powermatic 80 movement. The 80-hour power reserve is super convenient for the weekends.
A lot of watch for the money. 4 stars because the steel bracelet is a tiny bit jangly, but the case and dial finishing is absolutely phenomenal.
She knows I love traditional watches. The Le Locle carries so much Jura watchmaking heritage. The black dial is perfectly understated.
It slides right under a dress shirt cuff. If you need a traditional dress watch that you can wear to any formal event, this is the one.
