Put this 40mm Full Lume Ivory head on a gray ribbed NATO strap right out of the box and it looks killer on my wrist. The black hands pop against the pale dial. My only minor gripe is that the crown felt a bit stiff to wind during the first week before smoothing out.

Took the Full Lume Ivory version up to Maine for a week of coastal sailing and campfires. The 100m rating and full-dial glow make it a fun field piece around water. My only gripe is the buckle spacing could use one extra half-hole for hot, humid afternoons when my wrist swells.
Most mechanical chronographs barely handle a splash, so having 100m water resistance on this 40mm Air Defense is a huge plus when I'm out on Long Island Sound. The high-contrast white hands against the piano-black dial are easy to read in bright deck glare, and the sapphire crystal shrugs off knocks.

Bought the Full Lume Ivory model for my brother's 60th birthday since we both grew up around naval aviation. He was blown away by the mechanical column-wheel feel of the ST19 pushers and the vintage military font. He put it on at the dinner table and hasn't taken it off.
Swapped the factory leather for a curved-end 20mm black FKM rubber strap so it fits my wrist with room to spare. The double-domed sapphire and crisp sub-registers look great. Knocked one star because the lume is decent for a few hours after sundown but fades before morning.
I liked the stock Italian leather, but putting this Full Lume Ivory dial onto a 20mm olive canvas two-piece strap completely changed the look for casual Friday showings. At 40mm it sits balanced on my wrist, and the whole dial glows bright green after stepping indoors from the sun.
