Son loved it for his 40th
Bought the Sahara Sunrise for my son's 40th birthday dinner in San Diego. He wanted a rose gold watch with something different on the dial, and the Eastern Arabic numerals over the blue aventurine glass were a huge hit.
The watch
Built around an aventurine blue dial, the Paul Rich Star Dust II Sahara Sunrise pairs a 43mm case with a Swiss quartz movement. We place it at Hour VIII (Aventurine & Cosmic) of the Downtime season, for gifts and evening wear.
The Star Dust II Sahara Sunrise centers a blue aventurine dial that glitters like a night sky, set in a polished 43mm stainless steel case. The mineral crystal keeps the deep, star-flecked face crisp and legible.
A precise Swiss quartz movement keeps the Star Dust II Sahara Sunrise accurate and effortless — set it and forget it.
On a matching stainless steel bracelet, it slips under a cuff yet earns a second look at dinner. As a dress piece it is not rated for swimming or showering — treat the aventurine to dry land.
For anyone who wants a little of the universe on their wrist, day to night.
New, boxed and warrantied — free US shipping.
Good to know
It runs a Swiss quartz movement.
This is a dress piece and is not rated for water - keep it clear of swimming, showers and heavy splashing to protect the dial and finish.
The case measures 43mm — a bold size that suits larger wrists (roughly 17.5 cm / 6.9 in and up). Our watch size guide (/pages/watch-size-guide) explains how to measure your wrist.
It is a blue aventurine dial - natural aventurine flecked with sparkle like a night sky, set behind mineral crystal.
On the ChronoSeasons dial it sits at Hour VIII — Aventurine & Cosmic, part of the Downtime season, and suits evenings out, gifts and weekends.
Yes - every Paul Rich watch includes a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty.

Sized the rose gold bracelet for my wrist in ten minutes, and also picked up a brown calfskin strap that tones it down nicely for daytime wear. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.
Wasn't sure what to expect at $349 since I usually stick to traditional steel divers. Once I sized it for my wrist, the solid rose gold links, clean brushing, and deep blue aventurine dial with Arabic markers really impressed me.
Removed two links from the brushed rose gold bracelet to fit my wrist and the balance is spot on. I also swapped on a navy blue leather strap for a weekend trip, which makes the rose gold Arabic numerals pop.
Love the rose gold Arabic dial. Put on a leather strap that took days to soften.
