Even on my wrist, the integrated lug design keeps this 43mm case from overhanging when I wear it with a suit to client dinners in New York. The red aventurine dial and Arabic numerals have a really distinctive presence.
Sized the gold steel bracelet down for my wrist in about ten minutes and also tested it on a black leather strap which tones down the gold for work. Giving three stars because the shipping carrier delayed the box by two days, though the watch itself is great.

Wore this to a formal charity dinner in Minneapolis and it stood out in a sea of plain black dress watches. The 43mm case clears my shirt cuffs fine on a 7.75-inch wrist, though the butterfly clasp could use a half-link for warmer rooms.

Most of my collection consists of black-dial pilot chronographs and GMTs, so the Star Dust II Desert Flame was a wild card for me. The red aventurine dial with gold Eastern Arabic numerals has incredible depth under direct light, and the 43mm brushed gold-tone case sits comfortably on my wrist. The Swiss quartz caliber ticks dead on the markers and the mineral crystal has held up without a scratch.
