The 40mm gold-tone stainless case and jubilee bracelet are well finished for the price, and the crystal-set bezel is aligned cleanly. Japanese quartz keeps reliable time. My only minor complaint is that the small minute track markings take a second to focus on without my reading glasses.

The green aventurine dial and 40mm gold case look great, and I even tested it on a brown alligator-grain leather strap which dressed it down nicely. However, on the stock jubilee bracelet the butterfly clasp doesn't have half-links, so the fit on my 7.75-inch wrist is either a bit loose or slightly snug in warm weather.
Wore this to a quarterly sales dinner and two colleagues asked what was on my wrist. The 40mm case clears French cuffs with room to spare, and the dark green aventurine dial tones down the gold jubilee bracelet just enough for business casual.
