My brothers and I chipped in to get this Rhodium Specter for our dad's 60th birthday. He loves the understated grey dial and the fact that it has a Swiss Sellita automatic inside. He called me twice this week just to talk about how accurate it is.
I spend my days off kayaking and fishing around the Savannah marshes and needed something tougher than a standard 100m watch. The 40 ATM rating, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and bright lume on the Rhodium Specter make it super easy to read on the water at dusk.
Most field watches barely survive a dip in the lake, so having 400m of water resistance and a thick screw-down crown on a 40mm watch is awesome. Took it fishing up in northern Michigan last week and the lume and Kevlar strap held up great in the rain.
A monochromatic rhodium grey dial is basically a blank canvas for straps. I have rotated between the factory Kevlar, the included leather, and an orange FKM rubber strap for Arizona pool days, and the 40mm case looks like a completely different watch each time.

Bought this for my older brother who stood as best man at my wedding in June. Wanted to give him a real Swiss automatic rather than something generic, and the Rhodium Specter dial blew him away at the rehearsal dinner.
The 316L case machining is clean with no sharp edges underneath the lugs. At 12.6mm thick with a screw-down crown and 400m rating, it handles frequent hospital handwashing without a second thought. Legibility against the rhodium dial is fast and accurate.
