44mm gunmetal case fits my wrist great. Love the grey F-18 dial.
Wore it on the black leather band for work, then swapped onto a gunmetal-buckled grey sailcloth strap for the weekend. The 44mm gunmetal lugs frame both straps well. Outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.

I was skeptical about whether a 397 dollar aviation tribute watch would feel substantial, but the 44mm gunmetal 316L steel case and sapphire crystal are rock solid. The grey dial matches F/A-18 haze grey paint and the airframe insert on the back is awesome.

Bought this F/A-18 Hornet GMT for my brother when he made partner. He is a huge naval aviation fan, and the gunmetal case, grey dial, and real F/A-18 Hornet airframe metal in the caseback floored him.
The gunmetal 44mm case and fighter-jet grey dial look great on the factory black leather strap, and I also tried it on a grey ballistic nylon NATO for humid Honolulu weekends. The leather strap was pretty stiff for the first 3-4 days before breaking in.
