Wore this out on the channel off Santa Barbara last weekend and rinsed the salt spray off in the marina sink. The 100m rating and solid 316L steel bracelet hold up fine around water. The Miyota rotor has a slight audible whir in a dead-quiet room, which is normal for the 8215.

Checked the bracelet tolerances and clasp lock when it arrived. Links articulate smoothly without pinching hair on my wrist, and the anti-reflective sapphire keeps the obsidian dial readable under fluorescent hallway lights. Good mechanical value from the Miyota 8215 movement.
I split my week between harbor inspections and insurance briefings, so I needed a steel watch that looks sharp with a sport coat. The 40mm brushed case and vertically brushed black dial handle both settings easily, and the sapphire crystal still looks brand new.

When I am off the shop floor and meeting with aerospace vendors in button-downs, this 40mm Terrasot looks right at home. The polished fixed bezel catches just enough light against the obsidian black dial, and the flat link bracelet clears my shirt cuffs without snagging.
Straightforward 40mm integrated sport watch. The Miyota 8215 automatic has kept within +8 seconds a day over two weeks, and the 100m water resistance is practical. Note that the crown action felt a little stiff out of the box before working it in and out a few times.

Gave the Terrasot 1753 to my younger brother as a groomsman gift before my wedding. He has a 6.75-inch wrist and the 40mm integrated steel case fit him after pulling two links. That vertically brushed black dial looks sharp under reception lights.
