Clean Tolerances on 42mm Case

I pay attention to typography and proportions. The Eastern Arabic numerals are balanced cleanly across the 42mm dial, end-links sit flush against the case, and the Seiko NH35 winds smoothly.

Luxaura 1645 42mm Black Arabic Dial

Wasn't sure what to expect at $310, especially with a fluted bezel where cheap finishes look plastic. Once I opened the box I was impressed by the weight of the solid 316L links and the deep gloss of the black dial.

Straightforward spec sheet: 42mm polished and brushed 316L steel, 100m water resistance, sapphire crystal, and a hacking Seiko NH35 caliber. Clasp locks firmly and the Eastern Arabic numerals are cleanly applied.

Sharp Arabic Numerals

Eastern Arabic numeral dials are tough to find under $500 with a real mechanical movement, so I grabbed this 1645 right away. The applied indices have crisp edges against the obsidian black dial, and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal keeps reflections down. Even on my wrist the 42mm case wears comfortably thanks to the curved lugs, and the Seiko NH35 is running +4 sec/day.
