Wears very comfortably through long school board meetings and slides under a dress shirt cuff without catching. The red and blue bezel adds a classic pop of color against a charcoal suit, and the Jubilee bracelet looks dressy.
The red and blue sapphire bezel insert on this 1663 has a really nice depth to it that aluminum inserts just can't match. On my wrist the 40mm case and Jubilee bracelet drape comfortably with minimal gap at the solid end links. The Pearl DG GMT automatic caliber has settled in at +7 seconds a day, and the independent GMT hand jumps cleanly without disturbing the minute hand.
Sized the steel Jubilee bracelet for client days at the office, which took about ten minutes. For weekend wear I swapped it onto a 20mm navy and red striped NATO strap and the Pepsi bezel looks right at home.
Bought this for my husband's 50th birthday before our anniversary trip to Italy. He is picky about his watches and already owns a couple of Swiss pieces, but he has worn this red and blue GMT almost every day since opening it.
