Bought this for my brother's 45th birthday since red is his favorite color and he loves mechanical watches. He was blown away by how the baguette markers and red sunburst dial catch the light at dinner.
Took three links out of the steel bracelet for my wrist, and also tried it on a black suede strap which really lets the sunburst red dial take center stage. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.

Great red dial for showing homes. Crown felt slightly stiff at first but smoothed out.
The first thing I looked at was the sharp faceting on the 316L fluted bezel and the solid link tolerances. Everything lines up cleanly, the clasp shuts securely, and the NH36A keeps steady time.
40mm 316L steel case with a Seiko NH36A automatic and 100m water resistance is a practical combination. Baguette indices are set straight on the red dial. The crown threads felt a little stiff out of the box before working them a few times.

Baguette markers and red sunburst dial look sharp. Fits my wrist nicely.
The red sunburst dial goes from deep wine indoors to bright ruby in the sun, way better than the website photos. Comfortable on my 7.25-inch wrist, and while there's minimal lume on a baguette dress dial, it's easy to read.
Wears comfortably under a dress shirt cuff on my wrist and adds a bold pop of color with a charcoal suit in client meetings. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is where the money went.

You don't see many sunburst red dials at this price point that get the shade right, and this cherry-to-burgundy gradient under the AR sapphire crystal is really well done. The baguette-style indices catch light nicely alongside the polished 316L fluted bezel. On my wrist the 40mm case feels balanced, and the Seiko NH36A movement is running +3 sec/day.
