Working around boats in Washington, I immediately put this 40mm green Field Crawler on an olive FKM rubber strap and tried a steel bracelet too. It handles strap swaps easily, though the clasp could really use one extra micro-adjustment hole for warm afternoons.

Even though it is built like a tough field watch, the 40mm case and 12.6mm height tuck neatly under a button-down cuff for client meetings. The green dial is understated enough for a navy suit on the leather strap.

Old military field watches have always been my favorite style next to pilot chronographs, and this green dial captures that classic instrument aesthetic while adding 400m of water resistance. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though it is obvious the budget went straight into the watch.
I hesitated before dropping a grand on a microbrand watch online, half expecting mediocre finishing. Once I unboxed the Field Crawler Green, my doubts vanished. The brushing on the 316L steel case is crisp, the sapphire crystal is super clear, and the SW200-1 sweep is smooth.
Swapped from the stock Kevlar over to a distressed saddle leather strap and the green dial looks awesome with brown tones. Knocking one star only because the date window numerals are a little small to read quickly without my reading glasses.

Calipers put the case right at 40mm diameter and 12.6mm thick, which sits flat on my wrist. Crown threading is smooth with a positive seal for the 400m rating, and the AR sapphire makes the green dial easy to read in bright Florida sun.
