The watch

About this watch

The Ocean Crawler Leviathan - Ceramic-Enamel Dial (Limited Edition) is a 44mm dive watch with a ceramic-enamel dial, powered by an automatic movement. It brings a limited production run, 600m water resistance and a sapphire crystal. We place it at Hour IV (Dive) of the Expedition season, for travel days near the water.

Design

A hand-finished ceramic-enamel dial gives it remarkable depth, framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel and set into a 44mm case in 316L stainless steel. At 44mm across, 15mm thick and 51.8mm lug-to-lug, it wears with real presence on the wrist.

Movement

A self-winding automatic movement drives the Leviathan, individually regulated for steady, accurate timekeeping. There is no battery to replace — the watch winds itself from the motion of your wrist.

In the water

Every Ocean Crawler is pressure-tested in water, and this one is rated to 600 metres (60 ATM). That is genuine capability for recreational and technical scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing. The unidirectional bezel and bright Super-LumiNova keep elapsed-time tracking clear even in dark water.

Who it’s for

It is made for divers and enthusiasts who want a serious tool watch with genuine depth rating, Swiss-grade mechanics and a design that still turns heads above the surface.

Limited Edition 44mm Ceramic-Enamel Leviathan

At nearly twelve hundred dollars I was a bit skeptical ordering a dive watch online without trying it on first. Those worries disappeared the second I felt the heft of the 44mm case and saw the deep gloss on the ceramic-enamel dial and the custom stingray strap.

Overbuilt 600m Diver

The tolerances on this 316L steel case are tight. The 120-click rotating bezel has a firm mechanical detent, the crown threads down smoothly without binding, and the 4.5mm anti-reflective sapphire keeps the enamel dial readable from any angle.

44mm Leviathan with 4.5mm Domed Sapphire

Measured the case at 44mm across and 15mm thick, which makes sense given the 600m depth rating and 4.50mm domed sapphire crystal. The 120-click unidirectional bezel aligns dead center at twelve o'clock, and the ceramic-enamel dial provides crisp contrast.
