Die Hemel Air League Special ist ein 40-mm-Chronograph mit matt-schwarzem Zifferblatt und handaufziehendem mechanischem Chronographenwerk. Sie bietet 100 m wasserdichte Bauweise und ein Saphirglas. Auf dem ChronoSeasons-Zifferblatt ist sie der Stunde V – Chronograph – zugeordnet, die Teil der Expedition-Saison ist, und eignet sich für Fahrtage, Flüge und das Zeitmessen von allem, was zählt.
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Enthusiasten-Community entwickelt, reduziert die Air League Special den klassischen Piloten-Chronographen auf das Wesentliche. Ein matt-schwarzes Zifferblatt mit Super-LumiNova C3 befindet sich unter einem doppelt gewölbten AR-Saphirglas und wird vom handaufgezogenen Seagull ST19 angetrieben, mit optionalem Schwanenhals-Regulator — mit angenehmer taktiler Betätigung und 45 Stunden Gangreserve.

Picked up the Aged Ivory Air League Special for my younger brother when he finished his master's degree. He loves vintage aviation design and was thrilled with the exhibition view of the hand-wound movement. The outer presentation box was fairly basic, though the watch is clearly where the money went.
Checked this HF17 Black dial over closely when it arrived. The 40mm 316L case brushing is even, the chronograph seconds hand resets dead-center to 12 every time, and the 100m water resistance rating is practical. Winding action on the crown feels smooth and consistent.
The HF26 with the brushed steel 12-hour bezel looks fantastic on the stock brown leather, but I swapped it onto a 20mm gray sailcloth strap for summer. The matte black dial and steel bezel take on a whole different instrument vibe depending on what 20mm strap you throw on it.

The Aged Ivory HF17IV is a straightforward, well-executed 40mm mechanical chronograph. The double-domed AR sapphire keeps glare down under pharmacy lighting, the ST19 winds with crisp tactile feedback, and the black syringe hands provide instant contrast against the cream dial. Case machining tolerances are tight.
Wore the Black dial Air League Special to two client briefings in Boston this week. The 40mm case slips under a dress cuff without snagging, and the vintage sub-register layout looks sharp. Swapping in a spare steel bracelet I had took 15 minutes with stubborn spring bars, though the stock leather is nice.
